back home

because of unavoided reason (pulus reason of course), cik talam and family are going back to malaysia tomorrow instead of october. we'll be leaving to frankfurt at 8 am and is expected to arrive in KL at 6 am on the next day, before the ayam bangun pagi. we'll be in malaysia for a month. taxi to the airport has been booked last weekend via internet. kalau ko tak datang,siap kau! so far, the planning for our 1 month stay in malaysia involves nothing special except for 'makan2 cari makan'....kind of really sad though with this sudden decision since i wont be able to meet cik kieli as planned. rindu seehh kat dia...hopefully, will be able to meet the other cclub members in kl.

so nampaknya, no updates for this whole 1 month. to all, take care and enjoy life to the fullest!

pagi tadi snow turun lebat, selebatnya...nasib baik jacket aku ada hood, kalau tak basah kuyup lah kepala. hari ni terhyper sikit, so went off to the bus stop earlier than usual. sejuk seehhh, menunggu bas tu....kadang2 pedih mata bila ada angin kuat....habis bedak muka aku kena snow...yelah, pakai bedak johnson & johnson anak aku je, mana taknya....oklah tu kan, dari bedak cuticura? bas datang, the three of us who have been waiting for almost 5 minutes tak sabar2 nak naik...nasib baik bus datang, kalau dia lewat 5 minit lagi ke, for sure aku dah turn out jadi human ABC (air batu campur)....mana taknya, bag, jacket semua penuh snow flakes...aku rasa macam pokok krismas tu pulak, without the accsesories though...

kelmarin beloved hubby downloadkan two korean movies...malam ahad tu tengok satu....hubby dah tertido besides our son right after the movie started (duhh!!). so i end up watching the movie alone...since adam baru je start tido, meaning dia masih dalam unsteady state, dan boleh terjaga easily, i have to control my 'laughing' volume...tapi tak boleh tahan pasal cite tu lawak teramat bangat...now barulah i dapat figure out what is the 'ketawa sampai keras perut' tu actually means...rupanya serious, kalau u are laughing so hard but u try to tahan it supaya tak bising, memang your stomach somehow boleh stress...lawak gila cite tu, apa entah tajuk dia..my young bride ke apa entah...it was hillarious...

birthday anak aku will be this sunday...i just couldnt believe myself...dah setahun...sekejap je rasa. we havent decide what to give him as birthday present. tapi bithday cake dah boleh imagine macam mana it will look like. sebab parents dia yang nak makan sebenarnya...nantilah, nak jalan2 sambil figure out what's good for him that he can appreciate for his age ni...

finally...

finally, after waiting for almost 3 months, prison break is back! best gila this new season...it's on air every monday night...tuesday tu waiting excitedly to download the first episode of this second season...sekali yang ada season 1 episode 14...errr, ni mana datangnya pulak ni??? bukan ke suppose season 2 episode 1? hari tu first season sampai 13th episode je...tak kiralah, download je...tapi still tak puas hati...kot2 ni cite extra ke, memang ada specific season 2 episode 1 ke tak...akhirnya bila tengok, haahlah, they call this first episode as the 14th episode of season 1. the next day dah ada episode 15 pulak...best2...bocor punya..for special screening..what the heck??? tak yah tunggu next week...

update lain...gilmore, aku tak tahulah apa dah jadi ngan kau...dah masuk 3 rd week u are not aired...what happen to u? check kat website the next episode will be on the 28th tak silap...ingatkan dah berkubur...lost pun sama, at last last week ada episode baru..tak paham betul...kenapa kadang2 takde...takkanlah asyik ulang episode lepas2 memanjang.. i thought they do that only once per season...dah agak dah, pakcik tu jahat...padan muka kena torture ngan sayid hari tu...what else?? haaa...rondo!!! oh rondo, dah episode 10 dah pun kat jepun....tapi subtitled version sampai episode 7 je...dah dekat 3 minggu, subtitle episode 8 onwards tak kuar2..mana budak2 ni pi? bestnya rondo..ouch...best gila...u go yutaka!

aku rasa badan aku dah naik...risau gila sehh...aku memang cepat panik sikit when it comes to this...sah rasanya sebab bila tengok gambar sendiri, apsal muka aku dah jadik macam chipmunk??? tembam....waaaa!!! nak naik senang, nak turun?? paham2lah kan....memang dah expect pun..sebab makan banyak, no exercise, tak jalan langsung, asyik naik bas...baru2 ni masa nak gi sekolah, panic terlampau aku, bila nak pakai jeans, macam tak boleh masuk...selama ni jeans tu ada a bit space lah, bukan lah fitting sangat pun..ni sampai tak leh masuk...biar benar pak??? dah lah buttonfly, so cutting dia tu memang ketat sikit....tapi aku ni jenis degil, takleh hadapi kenyataan...so aku tarik jugak sampai tak hengat..ketat pun ketatlah...esoknya, not that fit anymore...aku pun consoled my self, 'yelah semalam pakai seluar baru basuh, seluar kalau lepas basuh dia akan shrink sikit mula especially kalau dry pakai dryer' ...hari jumaat tu first time masa winter ni tak pakai thermal...jeans only sebab nampak macam weather is ok...legaa...rupanya ketat sebab pakai thermal kat dalam selama ni.but still, memang naik lah dari dulu..tiap2 kali tengok rancangan dr phil, episode weight loss challenge, lagilah scary....impress amat2 macam manalah diaorg ni boleh lost berpuluh2 kg...takyah tahan perut lak tu...tiap kali tengok, la la tu lah, nak beli food guide book tu...lepas habis cite, lupa...tapi, aku try to be positive...mestilah naikkan, dah sejuk semacam...dahlah tak berpeluh,lepas tu asyik lapar je, mana taknya....nanti summer aku nak cuba jalan kaki...pi sello pun jalan kaki...nak try..tapi satu, time summer banyak anjing lak...takpe, anjing tu bukan syok kat aku pun, dia takkan datang dekat....ok nak off,nak jumpa scofield.

farewell party

last sunday, we had Ifar and family for the lunch. Jemput abang Z sekali. Ifar dah nak balik malaysia end of this month, for good! alamak, hilanglah the only jiran malaysian aku kat sini...we invited them to come at 11 am or earlier supaya boleh spend masa lama sikit. kalau tak, kejap dah gelap, dahlah sunday, bus not so frequent as weekdays. punctual diaorg, padan muka kita orang...sebabnya, masa diaorg datang tengah masak lagi...tapi takpe, kuih dah siap, so jamu kuih dulu...

we made a few dishes for the guests. ada doughnut, spaghetti, roti canai, chocolate cookies...chocolate cookies tu buat malam sbeelumnya, malam sebelum tu juga, buat kuih kari dal for roti canai and uli roti canai (courtesy of mr talam ubi). pagi on the day itself, baru masak sambal, spaghetti, doghnut and masak roti canai. best2...makan je kitaorg...sambil tengok tv....tengok malaysian MB 4 episodes berturut2...riuh rendah rumah, mesti pening anjing orang sebelah rumah tu..lantak kau...mana taknya, budak2 ni melompat2..diaorg ingat diaorg kat playground kot...anak aku, mula2 nangis gak, tak biasa lagi, lepas tu dia pulak join...tengok kakak dan abang naik atas sofa, dia nak naik jugak...terharu tengok anak aku dah pandai main dan bergaul ngan orang...yelah, memang lah its nothing, tapi sebab kat sini selama ni kami bertiga je, jarang jumpa sesapa..so bila tengok dia main ngan anak2 Iraf tu, terharu aku..dah besar dah anak aku....waaaa!!! dah tua lah aku in other words....

hari ni terasa nak balik awal...hampeh, sikit2 nak balik awal...macamlah ada entertainment ke apa kat umah tu...tapi serious, despite of kat school lagi ada macam2 bende, jumpa ramai org itu ini, rumah jugak best...sebab dapat jumpa baby and hubby...macam tak pernah jumpa...nope2, dont know how to describe, tapi itulah hakikatnya (Kak engku, 2006). lagipun hari ni wednesday, meaning: yesterday was tuesday (so?? duhh!!), meaning: hari ni banyak cite best dah download....

masalahnya kalau balik awal hari ni, esok balik awal lagi sebab ada appoinment kat neuvola, jumaat for sure kena balik awal...selasa depan kena balik awal lagi sebab ada apa entah, this small talk and gathering for foreigners ladies in my place tu..what to do???

sabtu ni harap2 weather is ok. ok means exceed 0 degree C. sebab kalau Ok, nak pi beli cokelat banyak2..tapi kedai tu jauh sikit, tapi murahhhh....aku pun risau, suka sangat makan cokelat kat sini...bahaya tak eh??? takpe ek, makan coklat otak cergas kan (Source: aku reka sendiri for self consolation)...

bus strike

bus strike hits helsinki starting last tuesday...maybe it started earlier than that, but since i decided to stay at home on monday (kononnya cuti rehatlah), so tak tahu menahu pasal bus strike tu...so pagi selasa tu, tercongoklah aku kat bus stop tu sorang2..pagi tu dah terbaca kat website bus, there's a strike...ingatkan it was not true atau tak libatkan kita, sekali aa amik ko!...after waiting for a bout 5 minutes and confirmed bas memang takkan datang sebab dah exceed its 'supposed to be there' punya time, sahlah takde bus hari tu. the strike involved a few bus n tram companies, Alhamdulillah not all of them..klu tak, mcm mana nak pi school? so dari selasa sampai khamis, menapaklah aku ke bus stop yg jauh sikit, around 10 min walking....sebenarnya its better to walk to that bus stop everyday pegi baliksekolah dari tunggu kat bus stop betul2 depan umah tu...at least ada exercise...dah 6 bulan aku tak berexercise..aku risau gila..apa nak jadi...masalahnya,sejukkkkkkkkk..kalau panas atau kurang sejuk pun jadiklahh..ini, Ya Allah sejuk amat..tunggulah tak lama lagi harap it will become warmer and warmer....its already march, sejuk nya undescribable....it is reported (recently) that march this year is colder than usual and the temperature is below the average normal temp....

hmm...budak2 kat university skarang, kebanyakan nye lahir thn 1987/88. skarang digelar 'remaja'.

apsal eh....after watching the latest episode of gilmoree last nite, i have this feeling that lorelai will get back together with chris, her ex hubby. hehe..bestnyaaaa...ok what...chris pun single parent, plus, dia hensem apa....muda remaja lagi...sebab lately dia asyik appear je dlm series tu...best222....anyway kesian kat luke, aku suka luke gak..tapi sapa suruh ko terkedek2, lmbt sgt nak kawin...padan muka ko! amik ko!

it has been a hectic week for me. just completed two exams. one was in tuesday, it's a book exam. this is the second book exam for me. the first one was the one that i sat for on the raya haji day. this second book exam is a lot more challenging, wayyyy too different from the first one. the first book picked for the exam is a 160 pages book and its content is all about my research area. this second book selected is not a normal book, i must say. it's a handbook with 960 plus pages...and the contents...contain almost everything, ranging from the chemical engineering subject to management to mechanical parts to health to sciences and analyses...well, what do u expect, it's a handbook...a book that people flip through when they are looking for something, a data perhaps...and here i am, picking the book for a book exam, and to make it worse, i decided to sit for oral exam...what was i thinking??? actually it didnt went the way that it supposed to be. eventually, after agreeing to pick the book for my book exam, my first thought was the book has 600 pages. i know that will require a lot of reading and memorizing but i guess i just give a try. i went to the library to borrom the book when i found out that it has almost 1000 pages (including the indexes and the appendices). mula-mula pikir, 'ala baca jelah, reading is my favourite activity what...so why not???'...but it's totally different from reading story books and all these gossip magazines...waaa!!! yang ni,nak kena memahamkannya lagi...baca the same line again and again...at one point, when i reached the 200th pages, i almost felt like giving up. what was i thinking??? maybe i should tell professor i dont want to go for the oral exam but writing a report instead??? prof always mention this to me..'it doesn't matter, how do u want to do the exam...it's all the same to me..it just that, among writing exam, oral exam and writing a report, oral exam is the easiest one'...logically that is so true...personally for me, writing exam is the scariest one when u are talking about this book exam..firstly, u might be asked about almost everything including doing the calculation, writing an equation and sketching a diagram and whatsoever, secondly, in writing exam, if you make mistake, then thats' it. it's all written clearly and we will be graded based on what we answered in the paper. so subjective, that u can't complain about the marks and etc. report is a lot more easier but it needs a lot of work sikit. and the easiet one is the oral exam...the scary thing about oral exam is...u can be asked about everything in the book, and to make things worse,sometimeswe will be asked with the 'not in the book' things as well. but the advantages are, u would never be asked to sketch a digram ke apa, no calculations (but sometimes they can ask you to write the equation) and you can always pusing2 sikit...maklumlah jawab oral kan, bukan macam oral exam masa upsr, pmr and spm tu..tu kena jawab dengan ayat penuh, tatabahasa betul semua..ni,lantaklah asalkan jawapan tu sampai...so finally,after about 5 weeks 'dating'with the book, i finally managed to sit for the exam...Alhamdulillah...i thought i was committing suicide when i decided to do this...Alhamdulillah dah lepas..another exam was yesterday..actually they made the exam two times, one (yestrday's) is for the exchange students and next friday is for the local students. but me and the japanese girl decided to take the xam yestrday, so that we can get rid of it faster heheh...Alhamdulillah exam dah lepas...tak kiralah how was my performance, how i did the exams, hampeh ke kodi ke, tawakkal je...yang penting dah lepas.takut sehh...i laways have this rasa takut (or is it nervous???) when sitting for an exam...semualah, dari peksa darjah satu,peksa2 besar tu lagilah (UPSR ke PMR ke SPM ke), peksa form 4 and 5 masa kat tepen, waaa lagilah, stress aku nengok semua...even amik peksa for driving test pun nervous gak...perlu ke..
tapi, despite of the hectic weekdays, rancangan tv ku tidak dilupakan. weekend memang masa aku joli katak...tapi kadang2 terlajak jugak, isnin pun cuti, ehehhe...my fav tv programme last week, AB fofular lah...best gila (the hosts) and i had already watched it twice...the performances: anita's and mawi's je aku suka...best gilaaaa sebab mawii menang..bukanlah fanatic sangat pun (sampai takleh kena kutuk langsung), nope,i'm not that kind of fan..i wonder fan artis mana yek, yang selalunya karatz dan fanatik gila sampai artis diaorg langsung takleh kena sentuh??? hehehe...itu, sendiri jawab...cik kieli tahu ek, prudence pun tahu kot ...*wink*

kawan malaysia ku (i mean the only kawan malaysia kat tempat ku ni) will be going home for good end of this month...waaa!!! dahlah ada satu je (one family), nak balik pulak....yesterday dia bagi food stock dia..macam2 ada, dari asam jawa (memang really needful) hinggalah kekacang dal, kacang hijau, brahims, rempah2, tuna spread,dan paling best sekali..kicap kipas udang..kaler merah lagii...waa tqq guys, u rock!! i love u all!!! (macam baru lepas buat concert pulak)...

last week sejuk melampau, negative belas2 semua...bilakah kesejukan ini akan berakhir??? tak sabar aku dan anak dan suamiku untuk pergi melawat sahabat-sahabat kami di zoo...entah kenapa,all of the tourist attraction places (dengan theme parknya) kat helskie ni, zoo tu jugak yang aku tak sabar nak pergi...agaknya sebab dah lama gila kot tak pergi zoo......oh zoo, tunggulah kedatangan kami sekeluarga soon eh...
